The hotel at the Antelope Canyon/Lake Powell area will be 3-4 stars. The accommodation has been chosen to give passengers the best access to the area. For those traveling alone there are single occupancy rates available.
This tour offers a wide range of walking opportunities, which require a reasonable level of fitness mostly due to possible elevation changes. The level of activity can be suited to and catered for almost all levels of fitness. It is not an activity holiday, just an active holiday.
Individual luggage must be kept to a maximum of one piece of luggage less than 50 pounds or one daypack less than or equal to 40 litres. It is recommended to travel with a small day pack for easy access to camera, sun block, and clothing. Most hotels can arrange to store bulky items pre-tour. We advise our clients to pack as lightly as possible.
Temperatures at Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell can vary by season. We recommend our guests bring jackets in the event of changing weather patterns.

After departing Las Vegas, guests will travel in a private, custom vehicle through the Mojave Desert and over the Colorado River on their way to the Lake Powell. There are many options for this scenic drive including through Zion National Park, a photo stop at Lake Powell Wahweap overlook, touring the Glen Canyon Visitor Center, and a scenic walk at Horseshoe Bend. Let us customize this day to fit your travel desires.
Dinner will be recommended and arranged by your DETOURS tour guide. There is also time for a scenic dinner cruise on Lake Powell for an additional cost.

During the morning hours, your DETOURS guide will pick you up from your hotel to begin a guided journey to Antelope Canyon. Your journey through Antelope Canyon will last about two hours allowing plenty of time for photographs. Antelope Canyon is one of the most famous slot canyons in the world, formed by erosion and flash foods. Guests will depart Page, AZ for Las Vegas at approximately 2:00pm for an approximate 8:00pm arrival back to the Las Vegas Strip.
