Sedona Overnight With Grand Canyon Tour
To see Arizona’s rich history, the Grand Canyon with Sedona overnight stay gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilizations, marvel at the spectacular landscape of Sedona and the Grand Canyon, and explore local and Navajo artisans of Sedona and the Navajo Nation. This guided tour features one of two ancient Native American ruins from the Sinagua Tribe that existed along this busy trade route between 1250 – 1425AD. This experience includes the ruins at Tuzigoot National Monument or Montezuma Castle National Monument, both of which are excellently preserved sites and give guests a fantastic glimpse into the history of its first inhabitants.
Following our time at the Native American National Monument, the tour will begin to explore the mystique surrounding Sedona with options ranging from cultural and spiritual to adventurous and active. Made famous by its marvelous red rock cliffs, Sedona plays host to world class artisans, outdoor enthusiasts and the “occasional” tourist. The tour of Sedona will include visits to the famous red rock features of Bell Rock, Airport Mesa, and Chapel of the Holy Cross, but you will also be provided views of Cathedral Rock, Snoopy Rock, and Submarine Rock to name a few. In uptown Sedona, you can explore on foot the many art galleries and shops, get a psychic reading, or enjoy the serenity that Sedona offers with a glass of wine on the balcony. An alternate choice available as an add-on is an off-road jeep tour exploring the backcountry of Sedona or a helicopter tour to gain a bird’s eye perspective of the stunning red rock spires and pinnacles. Your check in to your Sedona Lodging will be at approximately 3:30pm where you will have the remainder of the day to relax on your own and enjoy the local surroundings. Lodging upgrades are available for an additional fee.

Upon departing Sedona at approximately 9:30am, the tour passes through Oak Creek Canyon, a scenic byway that winds through 2,000 vertical feet of a red walled canyon to emerge surrounded by the dense ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest. Atop the Mogollon Rim, we will travel the outskirts of the Route 66 town of Flagstaff on our way to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Guests will enjoy about three hours within the National Park marveling at the beauty that is the Grand Canyon. While at the South Rim of the National Park, you will have opportunities to walk the rim, shop, capture an unlimited amount of photographs, or enjoy your lunch and relax with the best seat in the house. During our time in the National Park we will also explore the famous 30-mile section of road that winds east along the rim of the canyon, showcasing the best rim views and history along the way.
